【元宇宙导读】百度作为国内首个推出元宇宙产品的公司，希望通过希壤打造一个开放、自由、多元的虚拟世界。然而目前为止，百度的元宇宙业务还没有形成一个完整的商业闭环。马杰的离职，让百度在元宇宙赛道上的前景变得更加不确定。

01、希壤：百度的元宇宙梦
希壤是百度在2021年12月推出的一款元宇宙产品，其定位是“一个平行于物理世界的沉浸式虚拟空间”。

希壤采用了百度自研的3D渲染引擎和AI技术，支持多种终端设备，包括手机、平板、电脑、VR头显等。

02、目前的元宇宙难以形成商业闭环

根据第三方数据显示，截至2023年5月，希壤在各大应用商店的下载量，在社交类应用中排名靠后。

与此同时，在用户口碑方面，希壤也遭到了不少质疑和批评。据一些用户反映，希壤虽然画面精美，但操作复杂、内容单调、互动冷淡、体验不佳。还有的甚至直言，“希壤就是一个空洞无物、无聊至极的虚拟世界。”
At the same time, there have been a lot of questions and criticisms about the user profile. According to some users, it is complex, single-content, non-interacted, and not experienced. And, to put it bluntly, it's an empty, boring virtual world.
除了市场反馈不佳外，希壤还面临着来自内部和外部的压力。

在内部方面，据悉百度高层对于元宇宙业务并不看好，认为这是一个投入大、回报小、风险高、周期长的领域，并不符合百度当前的战略方向。
On the internal front, the 100-degree high-level view of meta-cosm operations is perceived as an area of high investment, low return, high risk and long cycle, and does not correspond to the current 100-degree strategic direction.
百度更倾向于发展AIGC（AI+云计算+芯片）相关业务，并将其作为未来增长的核心动力。因此，在资源分配上，百度对于希壤业务并不给予足够的支持和重视。
A hundred degrees are more inclined to develop the AIGGC (AI+Cycling + Chip)-related business as a central engine for future growth. Thus, 100 degrees do not give sufficient support and attention to Greek business in terms of resource allocation.
马杰也坦言，目前的元宇宙还需要克服视觉技术、听觉技术和交互技术三座大山的挑战。
Majel also said that the current metacosystem also needed to overcome the challenges of visual, hearing and interactive technologies.
同时，元宇宙领域如何形成商业闭环还有待进一步探索。这是马杰最后一次公开表态，百度的元宇宙产品当前仍无法形成商业闭环。

03、被边缘化的希壤将何去何从？

据悉，希壤团队虽然并未解散，但已经进行了一些调整和优化，部分人员已经转岗或离职。百度方面对于希壤的未来规划和发展方向也没有给出明确的表态。
