On 30 October, according to the latest developments in the XRP case, the Court granted the motion to seal the evidence submitted by the defendant on 22 October 2021 in response to an application by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of 15 October for a private review of three additional documents submitted by the plaintiff. On the basis of the application for sealing, the defendant had consulted with SEC and the plaintiff understood that it did not object to the storage of the materials. Moreover, the defence noted that the two exhibits filed under seal were classified by SEC itself. However, the plaintiff did not take an absolute position on the amendment or sealing of the above-mentioned documents.
