The latest CPI (consumer price index) report was released by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics yesterday at 20:30 p.m.: in May, CPI grew by 3.3 per cent on a year-on-year basis, lower than the economists' estimated monthly increase of 0.1 per cent and 3.4 per cent per year, respectively.
