中新网10月3日电 据欧联网援引欧联通讯社报道，当地时间2日，欧洲央行宣布，将于12日开始就可能发行的加密数字欧元进行试验，并就数字欧元进入市场流通展开公共咨询。
According to the European Union News Agency, the European Central Bank announced on 2 local time that it would begin testing the possible release of an encrypted digital euro in December, as well as conducting public consultations on the flow of a digital euro into the market.
报道称，尽管欧洲央行尚未发布数字欧元发行时间表，但加密数字欧元进入试验阶段，标志着欧洲数字货币时代即将来临。
It has been reported that, although the ECB has yet to issue a timetable for the issuance of a digital euro, the encoded digital euro has entered a pilot phase, marking the advent of the European digital currency era.
欧洲央行行长拉加德指出，欧洲公民在消费、储蓄和投资行为中，越来越多地使用数字技术。欧洲央行的角色就是要确保市场对欧元货币的信任，确保欧元能够适应数字时代，“因此，我们必须做好发行数字欧元的准备”。
European Central Bank President Lagarde pointed out that European citizens are increasingly using digital technology in their consumption, savings, and investment behaviour. The ECB’s role is to ensure market confidence in the euro’s currency and that the euro adapts to the digital age, & ldquo; therefore, we must be prepared to issue a digital euro & rdquao;
拉加德强调，虽然无需担心欧洲被外国数字支付服务提供商所主导，但不断变化的全球环境和保护主义政策，正在增加交易中断新风险，“我们有责任确保欧洲公民有选择权，并避免欧元被排除在支付生态系统之外。”
Lagarde stressed that, while there is no need to worry about Europe being dominated by foreign digital payment service providers, the changing global environment and protectionist policies are increasing the new risk of interrupted transactions, &ldquao; we have a responsibility to ensure that European citizens have a choice and avoid the euro’s being excluded from payment ecosystems. & & rdquao;

Lagarde states that, for the future, the ECB will continue to assess the costs and benefits of issuing digital money to ensure that the public has access to the digitized currency issued by the ECB.
