■ 關於元照
本公司以『元照』為名。孔子說：「天無私覆，地無私載，日月無私照」。天地無私，所以成其大；日月無私，所以能遍照。
隨著臺灣社會變遷與政經發展，元照出版於1990年以「法學」為核心，在各領域深度融合應用；2000年始發展周邊領域與法學的整合「人文、歷史、社會、教育、經管、財稅」；2005年起跨領域科際整合智財、工程、環境、科技，突破發展；始至今2017年開展與醫藥、護理、公衛、食安、長照等世紀工程領域，面對人類環境能源與資源法律，面對新金融科技、區塊鏈、與面對大數據、AI人工智慧等。作品從趨勢到現象、學理至實務逾萬種圖書、期刊、專論、實錄與講座等，作品中最著名的包括《月旦法學雜誌系列》最為人稱頌。

整合法領域、經營全方位
■ 洞察法學思潮趨勢
每月出刊的《月旦法學雜誌》企劃最新法學脈動的法律議題，與各專業法領域之先進學者，推出多元且精闢的權威論述。《月旦法學教室》的創刊，提供多元分眾化的創新服務，引導讀者從入門學習到進階研究的不同需求。2008年7月，將原《月旦法學雜誌》中「法學新論」單元，獨立創擘為《法學新論》期刊，提供新知與學術發表平台。2010年2月新創《裁判時報》、《裁判周報》，針對法律工作者就裁判案例，提供學術與實務觀點兼備評釋。2016年6月專為刑事法領域創刊《月旦刑事法評論》，建立熱點議題即時探討平台。2016年6月創刊《月旦醫事法報告》以法學為核心，跨學科整合醫、護、公衛、醫療保險、食安、長照等議題，解讀醫事法知識、宏觀醫事法視野，提供學者專家意見及最佳解決方案。2017年11月《月旦會計實務研究》的創刊，以時勢、趨勢的議題為導向，邀請法律人、稅務人、會計師、鑑識會計、AI資訊人多面向角度整合知識，提供會計人解決在實務現場遭遇的應用實力、及培養會計人創新、溝通、合作、協調的跨領域能力。為應經貿局勢與財稅政策的瞬變，2020年1月《月旦財稅實務釋評》創刊，透過月旦時論、爭點解析、判決範例、函令解析、法規解讀等專欄，稅務從業人員能精準地掌握最新稅賦相關規定與財稅重要議題，建立前瞻的思維及宏觀的視野。【月旦法律分析庫】每月即時關注實務發展，於2021年7月以《月旦實務選評》每月出刊，篩選重要裁判，發表核心、精闢的法律爭點、學理意見及實務觀點。以俾從事法學研究、辦理實務工作、引用專家意見，抑或學習考試而言，都會有深厚且長期的助益。2022年4月《月旦律評》秉持「律戒」為旨，以「律為規範，戒為德守」的中道精神，提供審判公正、實務創新、學術合理的知識、經驗與卓見。聚合審檢辯的專業論辯和經驗分享，透過思辯，強化法律的適用和新制，深化政策脈動之內在。
■ 跨地域法學交流平台
2003年創刊兩岸發行的《月旦民商法雜誌》，2005年推出兩岸簡繁體版的《月旦財經法雜誌》，2006年與北京大學出版社合作創刊的《中德私法研究》及2021年3月創刊《燕大法學教室》，以推動與德國法學交流與法律教育；2011年成為DOI（數位物件識別號）全球第二大註冊中心之正式會員，啟動作品註冊及數位服務新紀元， 2018年創刊《亞洲環境法與科技》，探討人類環境與能源領域的交響衝擊、法學視野。

■ 跨團體合作匯聚法學精粹
元照與臺灣大學合作英文法學期刊《National Taiwan University Law Review》、與政治大學合作《政大法學評論》、交通大學合作《交大法學評論》、中興大學合作《興大法學》、清華大學合作《Journal for Law and Policy in China》、《台灣科技法律與政策論叢》等多校共同合作重要期刊，為推廣高品質的學術文獻盡一分心力。與臺灣行政法學會、台灣法學會、台北市醫師公會、專利師公會及各大學多校系所、合作出版系列特色叢書，長期與各學術機構及公司團體進行紙本及數位出版合作、各類型研討座談及論文發表等，創新驅動和開放合作。透過學術界與實務界的合作案，橫向增加產品多元化，縱向重視提昇出版品質。
■ 善用創新科技建構知識庫
元照積極努力於2007年，建置完成全球華文法學知識數位平台檢索【月旦知識庫】發展數位經濟，以完整收錄全球華文法學文獻為目標，包括文獻專論、期刊、詞典工具書、教學資源庫、法律分析庫、兩岸法學名家、精選實務判解庫、常用法規、課程影音館（研討實錄∕進修講座）、博碩士論文庫、兩岸考試題庫等共11大子庫、50萬筆全文資料，運用智慧型跨庫整合交叉比對查詢，實現整合法學資源、使用便利速捷，期許引領廣視野、更精進，共同迎向知識新世紀。
■ 融合新世代教育學習
科技改變學習的方式，從平面、數位到立體化。2019年【元照讀書館】成立，館內展示來自各國經典的法學鉅著，更作為知識傳遞與創造、經驗流動與促進的傳動者。【元照讀書館】為學習者企劃新價值，發展〈學程?私慕課〉、〈實務匯豐系列〉、〈律評Podcast〉等講座，與講演者共同追求卓越、創新詮釋知識，交流實踐經驗與案例，為學習者建立客製化與個性化的學習歷程，與殿堂級的書香環境。

■ 展望元照
元照創立至今已三十年，仍持續追求突破、創新，積極融合學術與實務交流，肩負起活絡法學教育的社會責任。在未來的數個三十年，會與更多國際學者、學術單位合作，創新跨領域、多元的雋永作品，創造嶄新法律人未來。

In 1990, amid rapid social, economic, and political changes in Taiwan, Angle Publishing made legal studies its central focus. In 2000, Angle began publishing in related areas such as the humanities, history, sociology, education, management, and finance. In 2005, Angle took on interdisciplinary fields, especially those impacted by technology, such as intellectual property, engineering, environmental studies, science, and innovation. More recently, Angle has launched publications in medicine, nursing, public health, food safety, long-term care, and similar fields.
