Others point out that the campaign around the potential spot bitcoin ETF has appeared in the past, but regulators have never approved such a product. Michael O'Rourke, the chief market strategist of JonesTrade, says: “There is speculation that Belet's influence in the financial markets will help them to get approved, but regulators have been actively fighting the area of cryptographic currency, and I think it seems a little early to do so.”
