约摸三年前，由于参与一个课题的缘故，我无奈之下接触到了区块链。
About three years ago, as a result of my involvement in a subject, I had no choice but to come into contact with the block chain.
为什么说无奈呢?因为凭直觉，我总觉得很多所谓区块链应用不太靠谱。
Why not? Because by intuition, I always feel that a lot of so-called block chains are not very reliable.
当然，换在今天，一定有人会对我高喊：时代抛弃你的时候，连再见都不会说一声。
Today, of course, someone would have yelled at me: " When the times leave you, you will not even say goodbye. "
但是，我想说的是，如果区块链应用真的就是这个时代的标志，我宁愿被抛弃。
But what I want to say is that if the application of block chains is really the hallmark of this time, I would rather be abandoned.
相比追随所谓风口，我更愿意相信常识。
I would rather believe in common sense than follow the so-called winds.
何谓区块链应用?
What's a block chain application?
我相信，大多数人受到的科普大概是这么说的——狭义来讲，区块链是一种按照时间顺序将数据区块以顺序相连的方式组合成的一种链式数据结构，并以密码学方式保证的不可篡改和不可伪造的分布式账本。
I believe that the & mdash; — in the narrow sense, the & mdash that most people have received is a chained data structure that sequences the data blocks sequentially, and ensures in cryptography that there are no tampering and non-false distribution books.
广义来讲，区块链是利用块链式数据结构来验证与存储数据、利用分布式节点共识算法来生成和更新数据、利用密码学的方式保证数据传输和访问的安全、利用由自动化脚本代码组成的智能合约来编程和操作数据的一种全新的分布式基础架构与计算范式。
Broadly speaking, block chains are a completely new distributed base structure and computational paradigm that uses a block-chained data structure to validate and store data, use distributed node consensus algorithms to generate and update data, use cryptography to secure data transmission and access, and use smart contracts consisting of automated script codes to program and operate data.

可很多区块链应用，还在此基础上玩更繁复的概念，越玩越让人看不懂。
However, many block chains are applied on the basis of which more complex concepts are played, and the more they are played, the less accessible they are.
不是大多数人的智商不够，而是这东西被包装得实在太过高深莫测，连我这样所谓的专业人士都云里雾里。
It's not that most people don't have enough IQ, it's that stuff that's so overpacked that even professionals like me are in the clouds.
而现实却是——不懂装懂的人太多。
The reality is & mdash; & mdash; too many people can't pretend to understand.
于是，社会上出现一种新逻辑——不懂区块链等于被时代抛弃。
As a result, a new logic emerges in society & mdash; & mdash; ignorance of the chain of blocks amounts to rejection by the times.
值得关注的是，最近不少人甚至已经直接放弃对区块链技术及应用的探讨，直接将区块链上升为哲学乃至信仰。
It is a matter of concern that, in recent times, a number of people have even given up directly on the exploration of block chain technology and applications, directly elevating the block chain to philosophy and even faith.
当然，从区块链扯到信仰，一点儿都不稀奇。

十年前，区块链鼻祖中本聪就声称：在一个以区块链为基础的全新社会里，没有中央银行、没有证监会、没有银监会、没有保监会更没有车辆和婚姻登记所，一切的契约与交易皆向人民开放透明，我为人人，人人为我，这将带来真正意义上的信任与安全。

那么问题来了，中本聪究竟是个什么人呢?

据说，中本聪是这样一个人——1949年7月在日本出生;1959年移民美国，有过两段婚姻，育有6个小孩。现居住在美国洛杉矶郊区。比特币的开发者兼创始者，爱好收集火车模型，职业生涯中有多处保密，曾为大型企业还有美国军方执行保密的工作。
He is said to be such a man & mdash; & mdash; born in Japan in July 1949; immigrated to the United States in 1959, having two marriages and six children. He is now living in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Bitcoin's developer and founder, a man who is interested in collecting train models, has many secrets in his career, and has performed confidential work for large businesses and the United States military.
2008年11月1日，他在一个隐秘的密码学讨论组上贴出了一篇研究报告《比特币：一种点对点的电子现金系统》，阐述了基于P2P网络技术、加密技术、时间戳技术、区块链技术等的电子现金系统的构架理念，比特币就此问世。
On 1 November 2008, he posted on a secret cryptography discussion group a study, Bitcoin: an electronic cash system for point-to-points, which set out the concept of an electronic cash system based on P2P network technology, encryption technology, time-stamp technology, block chain technology, etc., which became public in Bitcoin.
而事实上呢?
And the truth is?
澳大利亚税务办公室发现，商人克莱格·莱特或许就是传说中的中本聪。那么，澳大利亚税务办公室又是如何发现这个秘密的呢?因为克莱格·莱特涉嫌偷税漏税，警方突击搜查其办公室及住所，然后，真相浮出水面。
The Australian Revenue Office found out that the businessman Craig & Middot; Leiter was probably the middle-brain of the legend. So how did the Australian Revenue Office find this secret? Because Craig & Middot; Leiter was suspected of tax evasion, police raided his office and residence, and then the truth surfaced.
若果真如此，就是这样一个涉嫌偷税漏税的商人，世人竟相信他会给世界带来真正意义上的信任与安全?

当然，克莱格·莱特未必一定就是中本聪，但是令人百思不得其解的是，如果区块链真是一种伟大哲学乃至崇高信仰，作为创始人的中本聪又何必不肯以真面目示人?
Of course, Clegg & Middot; Leiter may not necessarily be Chinese, but it is inexplicable that if the chain of blocks is truly a great philosophy and even a noble faith, why should he not show his true face as a founding man?
更滑稽的是，2014年2月28日晚，全球第一大比特币交易所Mt.Gox官方宣布：交易平台遭网络攻击，比特币全部不翼而飞，平台已向东京地方法院申请破产保护。
Even more ridiculously, on the evening of 28 February 2014, Mt. Gox, the world's largest Bitcoin exchange, officially announced that the trading platform had been hit by a cyber attack and that Bitcoin had all flown and that the platform had applied for bankruptcy protection in the Tokyo District Court.
事后经日本警方调查，该失窃事件纯属监守自盗。
Following a subsequent investigation by the Japanese police, the theft was purely self-inflicted.
2015年8月，Mt.Gox首席执行官马克·卡尔普勒被捕，他被控欺诈性操纵数据以及侵吞巨额比特币，人们在法庭上得知，马克·卡尔普勒多次操纵电脑数据为个人消费埋单，包括将600万日元从平台账户转出用于购买奢侈品。
In August 2015, Mark & Middot, Chief Executive Officer of Mt. Gox; he was arrested on charges of fraudulent data manipulation and misappropriation of large amounts of bitcoins, and was told in court that Mark & Middot had repeatedly manipulated computer data to pay for personal consumption, including the transfer of 6 million yen from platform accounts for the purchase of luxury goods.
事实上，在全球范围内，类似比特币交易所监守自盗事件时有频发，举不胜举。
Indeed, on a global scale, incidents of self-inflicted theft, similar to those of the Bitcoin Exchange, are frequent and overwhelming.
而针对区块链另一大杀手级应用ICO，就连人类史上最著名的金融诈骗犯《华尔街之狼》原型人物乔丹·贝尔福特都惊呼为“史上最大骗局”。
By applying ICO to another major killer in the block chain, even the most famous financial fraudster in human history, the Wolf of Wall Street, was named Jordan & Middot; Belford was shocked by &ldquao; and by the biggest fraud in human history & rdquao.

难道这就是真正意义上的信任与安全?
Is that really trust and security?
想一想吧，一个没有中央银行、没有证监会、没有银监会、没有保监会更没有车辆和婚姻登记所的社会，那是一个什么样的社会呢?
Think about it. What kind of society is a society without a central bank, a certification board, a silver register, a safety register and a marriage register?
更为荒谬的是，支撑这个去中心化的体系运转的计算机系统极其耗电。根据摩根士坦利发布的一项报告显示，比特币系统今年一年的用电量相当于阿根廷全国一年的用电量，而这些电力供应却都来自于一个一个中心化的发电站。
What is even more absurd is that the computer system that sustains this decentralised system is extremely power-intensive. According to a report released by Morgan Stanley, the Bitcoin system last year used the same amount of electricity as the entire country this year, and all of this electricity supply comes from a centralized power station.
时间，永远是最铁面无私的裁判员。很多流行的区块链应用到底是“天才发明”还是“庞氏诈骗”，时间早晚会给出答案。
Time is always the most unselfish judge. Many popular block chains apply to & & & & & & & & & ; & & & & ; Ponzi fraud & & & & & ; and sooner or later the answer will come.
