比特币自2009年1月3日诞生以来，共经历三次减半。2020年5月12日的比特币产量减半是第三次减半。比特币大约每4年完成1次产量减半，其实比特币产量减半计划在于块高，而不是在于时间，每当比特币减少210000块就会发生一次产量减半。
Bitcoin has been reduced by three times since it was born on 3 January 2009. By 12 May 2020, it was halved for the third time. Bitcoin had roughly halved its production every four years, whereas bitcoin had a plan to halve its production at a high level, rather than at a time when it would have halved its output by 210,000 dollars.
比特币三次产量减半的具体情况如下：
The specifics of halving the three-time production of Bitcoin are as follows:
1、第一次减半是在2012年11月28日，区块奖励从50个BTC下降到25BTC。
The first one was halved on 28 November 2012, and block incentives were reduced from 50 BTCs to 25 BTCs.
2、第二次减半是在2016年7月10日，区块奖励从25个BTC下降到12.5BTC。
The second half was on 10 July 2016, when block incentives were reduced from 25 BTCs to 12.5 BTCs.
3、第三次减半是在2020年5月12日，区块奖励从12.5个BTC下降到6.25BTC。
The third and third reduction was on 12 May 2020, when block incentives fell from 12.5 BTCs to 6.25 BTCs.
从2020年6月8号开始算起，比特币下一次减半时间倒计时还有1430天，预计第四次减半时间为2024年5月9号，当前区块奖励为6.25，预计减半后区块奖励为3.125。
Starting on 8 June 2020, the next halving of Bitcoin will take 1430 days, the fourth reduction is expected to be on 9 May 2024, the current block incentive is 6.25 and the post-cutting block incentive is expected to be 3.125.
