經濟日報10月5日主辦2022科技論壇「5G 開啟元宇宙大門」，論壇中台灣微軟總經理卞志祥以「深入元宇宙 解析產業創新運用」為題發表演講。卞志祥表示，微軟的使命是「賦能」全球所有人和企業，成就非凡。在元宇宙多個層面上，台灣目前被大家看到的是代工、IC到硬體生產很強，但元宇宙商機不只如此，台灣要建立創客經濟，在多元宇宙發展應用、內需帶動產業升級，驅動產業轉型。
On October 5, the Economic Daily News hosted the 2022 scientific forum, "5G Opens the Wall of the Yuan" in which Taiwan's microsoft executive Xiang Zhixiang gave a presentation on the theme "Deep-in-the-cosm, deconstructing the creative uses of the industry". Sing Zhixiang said that the mission of Microsoft was to “empower” all the world's people and businesses, with remarkable achievements. At many levels in the meta-cosmos, Taiwan is now seen as having a strong proxy, IC-to-hard production, but not just a meta-cosm business, building a creative economy, bringing industrial upgrading to the development of the multi-cosm, and driving industrial transformation.
卞志祥指出，元宇宙是真實世界和虛擬世界的結合，過去電腦網路建構中心化的社會，但元宇宙時代不僅是虛擬整合，也是反映、洞悉、超越人事時地物的限制，虛實互相切換，進行現實以外、在多個分身、多個宇宙的行為。

卞志祥說，產業賦能是微軟最能為企業做的事，大家看到的穿戴裝置HoloLens是網路呈現的部分，但微軟已經可以在元宇宙提供多元應用。例如在飛機客戶的機艙中，建立聯合模擬修理、培訓與任務指引的場景，維修工程師不用親身到各地機場，而是戴上HoloLens在虛實整合的機艙中模擬檢修，標示要維修的部分，協助在當地員工維修或訓練。

He stressed that the meta-cosmos was not an imagination, but an industry-wide reality. For example, it could be designed and produced as a prototype, modeled as a next-generation museum, or modeled to cross-country factories using wearing devices.
微軟怎麼做到的？卞志祥透露，微軟的元宇宙，是靠中央的無限大運算核心智能雲，配合周邊無所不在的IoT智能邊緣， 融合後產生數位分身，透過5G，將虛實間環境同步，所以可以在虛擬環境中建立實體的模型，觀察模型除了可以分析異常，可以甚至去預測，這是最重要的事。
How does Microsoft do it? Psychiatry reveals that the microsoft meta-cosm is a central, limitless, hard core intelligent cloud, coupled with the ubiquitous IOT intellectual edge of the surroundings, integrated into a digital bipolar, synchronizing the virtual environment through 5Gs, so that an actual model can be built in a virtual environment, which, in addition to analysing anomalies, can even be predicted, is the most important thing.
他認為，知道過去、預測未來，才能模擬各種環境下的虛擬世界的變動，用以解決交通疏導或是廠區維修、醫療與金融等問題。微軟建構出產業元宇宙，透過終端裝置呈現，讓用戶可感受虛擬世界，解決實體世界的問題。
He argued that knowing the past, predicting the future, would make it possible to simulate the evolution of the virtual world in every environment, to solve the problems of traffic diversion or plant maintenance, medical care, and finance. Microsoft constructs the industrial meta-cosm, to present through end-of-life devices, so that users can feel the virtual world and solve the problems of the real world.
